The Burberry February collection is inspired by the work and process of British artist Henry Moore. His take on scale, shape and texture is translated into sculptural silhouettes and asymmetric designs.
The renowned fashion house will be celebrating the artist through its second straight-to-consumer show, that will include an exhibition of Moore’s work. Following the unveiling of the collection, Makers House will open to visitors, providing them with a rare opportunity to explore Moore’s working methods and the evolution of his iconic sculptural ideas in an intimate setting in the heart of London.
Works on show will include Mother and Child: Block Seat (1983–84), Draped Reclining Mother and Baby (1983) and Torso with Point (1967).
